Redwood City: The Californian Peninsula City In the Northern California’s Bay Area, on the San Francisco Peninsula, lies the beautiful city; the Redwood City. It lies just 24 miles northwest of San Jose and 27 miles south of San Francisco. In 2018, as recorded by United States Census Board, the estimated population is 86,200. It is home to numerous Global Technology giants including Evernote, Oracle, Informatica and Electronics Art. The Redwood City Port is the only deep-water port on the San Francisco Bay. Though beholding the beauty is a Redwood Creek that drains much of the Redwood City’s major watercourse, connecting several significant river deltas such as Westpoint Slough.
