AODD pumps have the ability to run dry & self prime. If the input / discharge pressure goes beyond the design pressure i.e. 6-7 bar, the pump will stall without having any damage to the pump or the environment. 3. Their overall operating & maintenance costs of the pump is lower due to non availability of any seals or glands. Installing an FRL (Filter Regulator & Lubricator) for Antlia AODD pumps helps to reduce maintenance & increase the life of the diaphragm pump 4. Double Diaphragm pumps work on compressed air i.e. no electricity is required, hence aodd pumps are safe for flammable & hazardous liquids. 5. Antlia Pneumatic pumps can handle liquids at high temperature ranging from 0 to 70 degree for Polypropylene AODD pumps & 0 to 104 degree for Aluminium & Stainless Steel - 316 double diaphragm pumps 6. Air operated diaphragm pumps are 1:1 ratio pumps i.e. the output pressure is equal to input air pressure. The air volume required to run aodd pumps varies from 12-15 scfm to 40-45 scfm as size increases.
