There are several steps you'll have to follow prior to starting wearing the clear aligners. In the beginning, you'll need to wear a series of small bumps attached with your tooth. The bumps are constructed of composite material that is matched to the shade the teeth. Your dentist should examine your progress each week. If you're not seeing progress, your dentist may have to modify your aligners, or perhaps change the aligners completely. This can extend the duration of treatment and need you to begin again with a fresh aligners.
