"Bergamot", or "Citrus Bergamia", is of Asian origin, was exported to Italy where it became a fruit of harvest for medicinal and commercial purposes. The fruit has the same dimensions as an orange but with a slight green color change. The juice is bitter and acidic. Sometimes it can become difficult to drink enough juice to get the benefits that can be obtained from a bergamot supplement.
